About Dan

Dan Sloan is a multi-award-winning filmmaker based between London and Liverpool.

Working over narrative, music videos and commercials, Dan injects his unique vision into every project he becomes involved with.

His 2021 short “Swallow Your Dreams”, starring Paul McGann and Amy Bailey, was selected for the BIFA-qualifying MANIFF and received press from the BBC and Film Stories magazine. It also received awards for best film, directing, acting and editing.

He is currently in post-production on a documentary called “Made It” about the arbitrary notion of “success” as experienced by a group of actors during a workshop, and is also writing a feature film which he hopes to direct next year.

Dan is a BAFTA Connect member.
